NEW DELHI: Reigning champs Gujarat Titans will take on four-time champions Chennai Super Lords in IPL 2023 opener in Ahmedabad, the BCCI declared on Friday as it revealed the timetable for the impending season.
The sixteenth version of the competition begins from Walk 31 and the last association match will be played on May 21.
Every one of the 10 establishments will play 7 home and 7 away matches during the association period of the competition.
A sum of 70 association matches will be played and will incorporate 18 twofold headers, the board declared. The association matches will be played over a course of 52 days at 12 scenes.
The highest point conflict will be played on May 28 with the timetable and scenes for the End of the season games and Last to be declared sometime in the not too distant future.
The night matches will begin from 7:30 pm IST while the evening matches upon the arrival of the twofold headers will start from 3:30 pm IST.
Punjab Rulers will take on the Kolkata Knight Riders in the early evening game in Mohali while Lucknow Super Monsters will clash with Delhi Capitals at night game on April 1, which will be the day of the principal twofold header of the time.
The Sunday (April 2) evening blockbuster will be between heavyweights Illustrious Challengers Bangalore and five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
The initial three days of the actual competition will see every one of the 10 groups in real life.
"Rajasthan Royals will play their initial two home games in Guwahati prior to playing the rest of their home games in Jaipur. Punjab Rulers will play their five home matches in Mohali and afterward, play their last two home matches in Dharamshala against Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals separately," the board said in a delivery.
The last association stage match will be played among RCB and GT at the notorious M. Chinnaswamy Arena in Bengaluru on May 21.
